Audra Blažienė consults adults and children on all allergic, immunodeficiency diseases. On pulmonary diseases consults only adults.
She was one of the first doctors in Lithuania to use the innovative immunotherapy method (ASIT) for treatment of allergic diseases.
Dr Blažienė has gained extensive practical experience working at Santara Clinics, Vilnius University hospital, one of the biggest medical facilities in Lithuania. She has completed traineeships at a Harvard-affiliated hospital (Boston, US), Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine (Chicago, US), National Heart and Lung Institute (London, UK), and Allergology Clinic at Lund University hospital (Lund, Sweden).
She also is an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University.
Audra Blažienė is a member of the major professional societies in Lithuania, Europe, and America. She is Lithuania’s representative for allergology and clinical immunology in the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), which represents 1.4 million professionals.
