Hemorrhoid surgery
Haemorrhoid surgery at our Centre is a safe and reliable tailormade solution that relieves pain, bleeding and discomfort.
Before recommending the treatment which is best for you, we will carry out an examination and determine the degree of the haemorrhoid.
Treatment: we treat haemorrhoids with medication (suppositories, ointment, etc.), rubber ring ligations – this is the most common and most performed procedure both at our Centre, and worldwide.
If those methods are not suitable, one of the following surgeries is recommended: mechanical sutures hemorrhoidectomy (Ferguson), transanal hemorrhoidal dearterialization, open hemorrhoidectomy (Milligan-Morgan), closed hemorrhoidectomy (Ferguson).
After the surgery: usually, the patient can start light physical activity – drive or work on a computer within 1-7 days after the surgery (depending on the surgery method). Physical capacity is regained within 1-4 weeks, depending on the surgery type.
Do not delay seeking treatment! Treatment of an early diagnosed hemorrhoid is shorter, anaemia and other complications are avoided.
